WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT

​

Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,

​

Greetings in the wonderful name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! My heart is so heavy, yet at the same time I am rejoicing. Someone may ask how can that be? But it is true.
​

It grieves me to see what Satan has done and is doing and the effects have been a stronghold on millions. I see what God is doing in Sierra Leone where sixty percent of the population is Muslim. It is amazing and beautiful, even though the enemy's assaults and demonic activities are so vicious. We are challenged on every side but, the Holy Spirit keeps us in remembrance that we are not alone.

​

He sent us into Africa to preach the Word of God that they may believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Today, God's word is being fulfilled according to Matt. 10:8 (Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.) to God be the glory! 

​

Testimonial: I believe the month of June; Pastor Alex reported a virus was attacking the children in the city of Bo. Many children died after about three days. There was a child brought to him that was still alive after seven days. Alex began to pray and immediately, the child stopped crying and closed his eyes as if he had died. He remained in this state for approximately 45 minutes. Suddenly, his eyes opened, and he sat up asking for something to eat, the Lord directed Alex to give him coconut juice. At this point, the mother called for his dad and Alex ministered the word of God to the parents and they accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior. Now Pastor Alex, understood why this child was alive after this near-death experience, because it brought life to the parents.

MISSION UPDATES

​

Accomplishments of the B. Florence Mission for Souls 2024

​

• B. Florence Mission for Souls is a registered nonprofit organization in Sierra Leone, West Africa.

​​

• B. Florence Mission for Souls is registered to operate the ministry in Sierra Leone, West Africa.

​​

• Local church services continue to be held every week in addition to evangelizing in new areas.

​​

• Ministering in the City of Bo in Sierra Leone.

​​

• Mission for Souls Primary Christian School year ended in the month of August 2024 with all students doing well. Eleven students in class, 6 passed the National Exam to advance to the next level. We have sponsored these eleven students into higher education at a new school with the cost per/student is $170 US dollars.​

​

• Provided medical care for children.

​

• Third phase of church construction continuing (including windows, doors, and interior work) in Bo City.

​

• Purchased new motor bike.

​

• Mission Outreach Revelation and Deliverance Radio broadcast every Saturday morning at 9:00 am to 10:00 am on WSLT 88.5 FM in Statesboro, Georgia.

​​​

B. Florence Mission for Souls Future Plans 2024-2025

​

• Evangelize to whomever or wherever doors are open to preach the gospel.

​​

• There is a need for Christian workers and teachers.

​​

• Evangelize in Liberia, West Africa, and other countries.​​​

​​

• Continue to operate Mission for Souls Primary Christian School and provide lunch for students. Mission for Souls Primary Christian School year will reconvene September 9, 2024.

​​

• Continue to provide medical care for children.

​

     We want to thank you and praise God for your continuous prayers and financial support. This work is being accomplished because the body of Christ is working together in unity, love, and compassion. Our prayer is, "the Lord bless you and keep you, the Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you, the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace." (Num. 6:24-26).
